Presentation details:
The focus of the presentation is to have you become familiar with this free resource from the Perimeter Institute. This resource has strong connections with the curriculum in 12U chemistry and 12U physics. A variety of worksheet questions shall be reviewed, and suggested teaching progressions be described. Highlights of the video will be shown. Every participating teacher will go home with the resource kit. Snacks and drinks will be provided. After the presentation, there will be a short tour/talk describing the research conducted by the Queen's University Physics Department. Upcoming conferences will be promoted (OAPT in May ) and STAO (In Nov) to further your subject specific professional growth.
